World Day of asbestos victims. Mass Senigallia. On 28 January 2005 Porto Alegre (Brazil), under the Global Forum on asbestos, it was proposed dall'Abrea, Brazilian Association of asbestos, of define a world day in which to draw public attention to the serious damage to health that the use of asbestos has produced and, unfortunately, will continue to produce for many years.
the Global Forum has unanimously decided to establish the date of 28 April of each year and invite all associations, movements, institutions and trade unions to take on this occasion, each with its own sensitivity and through special initiatives .
ALA Association struggle to asbestos, and plays a part, with the occasion, invites those who wish to participate in a mass.

Despite numerous studies to date is very difficult to quantify the number of deaths caused by asbestos in the world. In any case, of course, the order of magnitude can be considered close to the millions rather than hundreds of thousands.

last note. Finally, the Association ALA - after months and months of unanswered requests - got the chance to settle in the hospital morgue in Senigallia a box for collecting bids. Given the very poor help the City to support the association (which provides advice and check every day what needs to be reclaimed in the city) offers will be a vital form of support for the ALA.
